01 當你跟其他部門起衝突時你會如何應對？
I think all conflicts come from insufficient knowledge of each other's jobs. For example, PMs have pressure on the project timeline. And engineers have pressure to develop or debug. So I think, we just need more time to discuss and find a consensus.
02 說明一下你對我們公司的了解
As I know, Yang Ming is an international shipping company, which has multiple routes, such as America, Europe, China, and so on. On the other hand, Yang Ming also focuses on ESG issues. As my background is in meteorology, so it is also a point that attracts me to apply.
03 你對於海運業的前景有什麼看法
The operation of shipping is based on demand and supply. Demand means the number of imports and export, and Supply indicates the number of cabins. In general, these issues also connect to economic activity. However, marine transportation is still the most important transportation tool in the world. So I think, the future of shipping can still be expected.
04 Where do you see yourself in five years?
My immediate goal is to find a position to provide my knowledge and skills. I also want to gain more work experience. In general, I love to try different challenges, which can be found in my past working and school club experience. Consequently, I hope that I can continue to learn and grow in my career.
05 What are your strengths and weaknesses?
My advantage is I have a strong learning ability and adaptability. From my experience, I have continued improving and enhancing my technical strength, which can be seen in my resume and Github. In contrast, My disadvantage is I may easily ignore some details. For example, I can quickly complete a technical survey and a prototype, but I will spend some time fixing the detail.
